Q: What kind of relationship does Sunrise Communications have with the Carriers?
A: Sunrise has a specific legally-binding contract with each Carrier we represent. While these contracts vary in terms and specifics, they all generally allow us to advertise and order the Carrier’s Products and Services for current and/or potential customers as representatives of the Carrier.
Q: Why do carriers hire companies like Sunrise Communications?
A: Most of our partners are very large Corporations. It is more cost efficient for them to hire well qualified trustworthy partners that have the infrastructure, resources, training, and people equipped to handle marketing and sales for them.
Q: Why do you not have all of my information if I’m already a customer of the Carrier you represent?
A: Due to CPNI laws and a very real concern for your privacy, Carriers do not provide us customer-specific information such as account #’s, social security #’s, birthdates, etc. which are things you often have to have in order to sign up for telecom services. Often we do not need this information, however there are times we do to verify that we are making changes on the correct accounts.
Q: Will Sunrise Communications be providing my bill and customer service?
A: No, we serve as a marketing and sales firm for our Carrier partners. Once you have ordered your services, your Carrier will bill you and service your account just like they would if you had called them directly. However, if you want to contact us for assistance, you are free to do so and we will be happy to help!
Q: Do I get better or worse pricing going directly through the carrier or through Sunrise Communications?
A: Neither. We offer the same pricing and promotions as you can get going directly through the carrier in most circumstances. Sometimes the carriers offer different promotions through different marketing sources, but the base pricing is the same.
